Cleaning up and cleaning out

A night cleaning crew janitor stealing money from a charity box (selling chocolates) in my office.
He's been fired.

Turns out this guy was on a "crack run" at the time and has no idea how much he took from the whole building. I've spoken with the local police and he is (was?) seeking help and trying to make up for his past. The cops were surprised to find out that we had videos of others trying to steal from the candy box. His employer lost the building contract (due to multiple problems, not just this guy) and tried to blame it all on him to regain it.

This guy was on crack. His employer was on greed.

FYI: I work with Steve (the submitter) .. that box is for a well known charity that benefits sick children... what kind of low-life do you have to be to steal from sick children??
