Integration of Immigrants: A challenge for Europe

This politicians are traitors, we can´t solve the problem of the low birthrate and the lack of unqualified workers with immigrants, it´s creating a big problem, in some decades our culture and identity will be completely destroyed, we will be a new brazil and this will led us to a conflict (social problems), this politicians are completely crazy, Europeans wake up and stop voting in this crazy ultra liberals. The only way to solve this problem is deporting non european immigrants.

We're not racist, we just think that things have gone too far right now. There are hundreds of immigrants arriving at our shores every day. It takes time to intrgrate and at this pace we can't see that happening. We feel as if we're being invaded and obviously we're not comfortable with it.

Did we Dutchmen ever enslave Turks or Moroccans? No. Did they ever enslave Dutchmen? Yes.

Now, how is your point logical when those hundreds of thousands of immigrants we get are mostly from those two countries?

Strange situation Europe considers itself to be in. America is a naturally multicultural country, starting all the way from its beginning. It started with Native Americans then Europeans and Africans Americans, and we've been building on ever since. It didn't destroy our country. But I guess Europe never really has been a beacon of light regarding such matters.

Wrong, in fact the Dutch Republic in the 16th and 17th century took in hundreds of thousands of immigrants which nearly all assimilated well, they were productive, and contributed to the economy, arts, culture etc.

You are wrong on one part... It started with "natives" and their culture was nearly annihilated. Much the same European culture could be facing the same situation in the face of political Islam. The question should really be. "do Europeans want their culture drastically changed?". If not then i think it is perfectly within their rights to bar/limit immigration. There is always the US to immigrate to....
