Failed Prank Call

This was David and myself, sometime in 2005-2006.

We'd hatched a plot to call my old French teacher and spring a "Your statue in the Hall of Thinkers!" prank, ala Frasier, but we couldn't get the phone working properly and gave up.

It's a pity really, I think it would've been hilarious.

It really was a shit phone. At the time, we had two phones on the same line, and the fax-phone (the one I was dialling on) would never do what I asked it to do. You had to dial on the mobile handset (the one that David was using to record our voices).
