When asked about a recent comment that the deficit keeps the president "asleep" at night, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs corrects the Fox reporter saying "keeps him 'awake'... Fox is what puts him to sleep."

The FACT is that that stimulus saved millions of fire fighter, cop, and teacher jobs. Without it, the unemployment would have sky-rocketed to the teens. This is a well established fact.

Also, it is important to note that most economists were saying the stimulus needed to be bigger.

Almost a third of that stimulus was tax-cuts-championed by your cadres on the right.

700 billion dollar bailout- Bush.

Afghanistan and Iraq war funding. -100's of billions

Bush tax cuts -100's of billions

Prescription program- billions

Obama- Stimulus 700 billion, which was NEEDED for the economy, and DID save 100's of thousands of jobs, it's the truth.

Anyone could say ignorant, untrue things, not everybody can say informed, clever things. FAIL

If you're a FOX viewer that constructs arguments similar or identical to the talking heads there, than I am indeed smarter than you.

For example, If you were like Hannity, you would argue against Obama's stimulus package. You would argue this knowing full and well the vast majority of economists said a stimulus was needed. You would also argue it didn't create jobs, when it has saved or created 100's of thousands of jobs. It's not intellectual, but mud-slinging dumbness.
