Co-Equality Of The Godhead - Fact Or Fiction?

An exploration of the trinitarian doctrine that states both the Father and Son are co-equal and co-eternal persons within the Godhead.

I do not believe that this is a salvation issue for I believe that oneness and trinitarian Christians are all part of one body in Christ.

It is my hope that this explains the oneness position in a few details and clears up a few misconceptions that I have heard lately. It is my intention that it challenges those who hold to the doctrine of the trinity to reevaluate their position. Whether you remain trinitarian or see the truth in the oneness position, it should bring you nearer to the Lord and bring you into His Holy Scriptures.

Hey Alex! I've been in the same place you are now so I know where you are coming from bro and it's better to believe what is written instead of beliving doctrines of men from some council. I am thankful for my Apostolic brothers who made this. Only thing is at the end of the video it says "All of my beloved trinitarian brothers and sisters." I hope whoever wrote that was referring to them "as brothers according to the flesh" because we shud know they don't worship the same Jesus we do and to say they do is to try to fit them into the kingdom of God when Jesus said in Jn 4:24 "God is Spirit: and they that worship him MUST worship him in spirit and in truth." Come on Oneness bros.

@chassr1 God is one God. God has a Divine nature that consists of three persons. God is the Father, Son, Holy Spirit. God the Father. God the Son. God the Holy Spirit. Simple as that. God can be in more than one place anytime. Jesus purposeley didn't want to know the hour. Jesus chose to leave that to the Father. I don't know why but I think he was showing honor to the Father. @chassr1 Jesus who stands second in the Trinity/Godhead is the only one who manifested in flesh. So Jesus has two Divine Natures. Divinity and Humanity. His Divine nature is limitless and his Human nature is limited. As his Divine nature he would know strangers names, raise the dead, cast demons out without any authority from the Father, heal the sick, go on for days without eating and drinking, rebuke temptations. His Human nature he would eat, sleep, drink, pray to the Father.

@chassr1 I used to attend a Oneness Pentecostal church. No I attend a Non Denominational Christian Interdenominational church. Oneness Pentecostals take scriptures out of contexts. Sometimes they don't understand it fully. Sometimes they twist the truth because they don't understand a verse. Jesus is not the Father. God is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Co-Equal. Co-Eternal. Co-Existent. Jesus was bot Man and God. Jesus had a Divine and Human nature.

@ApostolicOutpost Likewise, the answer to the Proverbs 30:4 question is Jesus Christ! For in Matthew 28:19, Jesus tells us that we shall baptize in the name (not names) of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and the name is revealed in Acts 2:38!

I have a couple questions. How do oneness believers correct the verses that put the Father and Son in the same place at the same time? Can God make Himself into two Gods (Father and Son) for a time being? If Jesus was the Father then did He lie when He said He didn't know the hour of His return only the Father knows or was it a play on words? What about the opposing wills pointed out in this vid, if the Son is the Father? I really don't see how these can be corrected with out changing the bible.
