  • Great videos Trevor, really enjoyed them. Wondering what camera you used on your hike as I'd like to do some documenting myself for my upcoming trip.

  • @Amarony I used a GoPro HD Hero (with mountable head strap) and the Kodak Zi8 (which I recommend going with the new Kodak Playsport, its almost exactly like the Zi8 except it's waterproof)

  • Great video! But what the heck happened w/ your friend?

  • Excellent video Trevor! Congrats on finishing! We did our trip in late August and there was no snow. It's much easier then.

  • This is a really well made documentary! Great Job!

  • it took my bf 10 days...

  • Very nicely done, and enjoyable. Nice to see an unvarnished account of a long distance hike, and some of the most beautiful terrain in the world.

  • From "Map Man" on the whiteblaze forum

""I think this video record of his hike is well done (I watched all three parts -- about 45 minutes total). Good job showing the scenery. But what I really liked is that it captured some of the less glamorous aspects of a multi-week hike. His hiking partner quits on the first day. His sleeping bag gets wet. ...

  • Great video , Thank you for sharing

I miss the JMT, going back this summer

  • Wonderful video — I'm glad you made it. "It" being both the video and the trail's end. I was a bit worried when your shoes started failing; I've met hikers that had to bail out of epic hikes because of cheap shoes.
