my pleasure! if i know it i'm glad to share it. i am self taught as well, and i've found youtube and other tab sites to be very helpful in figuring out songs etc.
although i'm not much of a singer it is the reason why i play guitar, to accompany my voice on songs i love to sing. i live on L.I.-N.Y. If i ever travel west i'll take you up on it. good luck and keep playing

Awesome! I've been waiting to try to play this. Can you put the chord progression that you are using? I can catch the D and G but there are a few others that you have going.

thanks!! you have the verse, which is D to G, the chorus is A-G-D, the middle eight is Em-D (3x)then A-G, and he subs the D-G progression with a D-Em-Dsus2w/F#-G, when he comes out of the solo(not done here),intro to too-ra-loo-ra part and he ends the song with that progression as well.
