Sorry for lack of description - I was playing FFXIII :D
This song was pretty popular in March and April, and I made it in April, just didn't get the chance to upload it yet.
The song is based on a poem, which in turn is based on an Arthurian legend. It's really interesting actually - read up on it :)
Basically though, the song and poem follow the story of a woman who is locked in a tower, and can only watch the reflection of the outside in a mirror. However, she looks out when she sees her perfect man, and she leaves the tower to find him. But, when she looked outside, she cursed herself, and she dies before she reaches him.
I took the story and changed it a little, Vanille reaches Basch before she dies and leaves him a crystal tear.
The sepia reflects the mundane life she lives, but the second she steps out, she enters a world of beautiful colour.
