  • I am lookin for a good tip about to add NEW->Rich Text Document for Windows 7.

    I lost that after installing OpenOffice...

    ...found many tips, but mostly for XP and Vista, doe all it says but no results so far...

  • @marcelobetel It should be the same on Windows 7 too. Just find ".rtf" in the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT and create the shell and the command.

  • I didn't make that command, it comes with Windows Vista (if you hold shift and right-click an open spot you'll get it). :)

    You can make a copy of it on XP though, but I'm not sure how.

    I just want to thank you for your help, and point you that maybe have the same problem that I was fighting agains here for more then 8 hours...

    The big issue was that OpenOffice installation, I think...

    ...and, if nothing get it right, use the attached file in the botton of the screen...

  • Thanks i figured out how to do it

    i put in the registry "C:\WINDOWS\system 32\cmd.exe"

    and then i just right click an object in the folder and it will open cmd in the folder :D
