With its virtuosic runs, this is easily the most difficult of Belmonte's arias from Mozart's "Die Entführung aus dem Serail", but what a pleasure it is to listen to Streit effortlessly weave through the notes! Such class. There are many instances of his fine phrasing on display here, in particular how remarkably he sings the rising triplets in a leisurely but graceful pace at 5:05.
Enjoy this beautiful moment in the opera.
