  • Not really a waste of time figuring we get paid to do it. Editing took about as much time as say... Surfing utube being negative! :-)

  • Those shin gaurd looking things look like they're slowing you down.Just stick too knee pads. Can't even run right.

  • No...its just me who cant run right. lol

Those shin guards get worn down along with the steel caps to nothing every weekend, and knee pads are expensive.

  • lol,are you sure it's just you? I'm trying too picture myself running with those things and i think it would be uncomfortable.Dude,Knee pads are only between $30-$50.They'll last you the whole haunt.

  • Oh I didn't know I was talking to an expert in sliding. Let me give you the low down with the six years ive been doing this.

One year we slid with out toe caps, we went threw a pair of shoes a weekend, at $80.00 a pair times 10 sliders thats $800.00 a weekend and $4,800 for the whole haunt. Now if we were to slide with out these pvc pipes, we would easily go threw a pair a night (If I can work threw a pair of quarter 2mm thick steel, and quarter inch PVC plastic.....

    (Read next comment...)

  • ....I think its safe to say we could go threw a pair of plastic catcher pads. So that would be $40 a night times 10 sliders ($400)times three days a week($1,200) the whole "haunt" would end up being $7,200 dollars if we just did pads alone.

Its a good thought bro but I'm not sure if your aware of the amount of sliding we do every night, plus how hard we hit the ground, and ware down not only our gear, but out bodies as well.

  • But thank you for your comment and interest in this stuff. You are right it is a little wierd to run inthe gear, but normally when were out in the zones (not making videos) we only need to get a few steps in before were tearin up along the ground.

You should come try out next year, we always need some people who are willing to kill there legs, in order to get some awesome scares!

  • i think why they go through so much gear is the concrete/asphalt they slide on, if you look at it, its all rough, which would easily wear down gear

  • dude them shin thing are sickk haha ther differentt

    butt w.e works riightt???

  • <3 i love this vid <3

  • "We'll make a scary video later. =-)"

    ...And we never did. LOL.

  • happy b-day shinobi

  • First of all LOL and second how do you make sliding things im trying to but idk what to use HELP PLEASE :)

  • From one slider to another, you guys really are our sillier cousins.

  • It's hard to pick out a rhyme or reason to it. My second year at HOS they asked me to do it and I have ever since, I didn't really do anything differently at my tryout. But honestly there's a lot of people who want to do it and usually about 2-3 slots open. We've had lots of good people over the years and I say good luck to anyone who wants to join the fun, but remember it doesn't mean they don't like you if they put you somewhere else.

  • My friends and I spent at least twenty minutes just sitting back and watching you guys work. It was one of the highlights of our night. :D You have way too much fun. Keep up the good work! :)
