@RIXSTIX66 What you claimed may happen upon disclosure is possible, but it would pale in comparison to the effect it would have if aliens popped up with no official admittance by the govt before that point right? Better to tell people the truth in the time of blockbuster alien movies tv shows etc. Panic would happen either way, but if ppl knew it would be easier to coordinate things among an informed populace.

lets all consume mass quanitys, take it from a cone head

for the govt. to come out and admit any ufo contact would cause a massive breakdown in social services, people would hoarde food, bread would be 20 dallars a loaf, everyone would try to arm them selves to the teeth.compounds of doomsday cults would spring up in every city. the bread basket to the world would break down, and global economys would hoard gold , driving the price of every thing out of control. ( I wonder if thats whats happening now)

Im sorry. Ive been really interested in Alex Collier and Graham Hanncock, and the whole Alien Hypothosis. But I just cant take Dan Akroyd seriously.. I keep trying to watch this video but every time I hear him talk I think of the Blues Bros.. I just cant do it...

this seems to mirror polls on purely religious grounds such as over 50% of americans who believe that the bible is literally true (and has stayed at this figure of between 45-50% during the past 30 years or so. and it also depends on how the question is phased such as the one in this show which said that 72% of American's believe in life beyond earth (this to me did not mean Aliens) it could easily be interpreted as heaven, hell, past lives, reincarnation, karma other planets, Etc.
Dan Aykroyd is the shit!
