never been there but to get more air you have to compress the suspension more and yes going faster help creating momentum. but as long as you reach the landing section it's supposed to be good...
in fact more air = less speed.
this is exactly why pros are doing so much scrubbing... it can make you fly as fast as possible and as far as possible without getting crazy air (and by the same loose time) + it can be usufull for placing the bike for the next corner.

i went there 2 days ago n now im clearing the bigger jumps (2nd year of riding). when im on the bike n in the air it seems like im high up but for people that are watching might not think i am high as i think i am....make n e sence? so i wanted to ask u (u seem to have some experience on riding) how do i get more air than i already am? it would be good if u reply. P.S im already landing the jumps but i want more air. thxx
