  • the sad thing a while ago i saw a news report on the spanish news that said a lot of young people are embarrased to speak their dialect language, i was pissed off what an honor to speak a dialect of your native people. Any Mexican like myself would have huge honor and pride in knowing a dialect especially Nahuatl

  • @INDUSTRIAL3X No problem, it's a beautiful language. Enjoy learning it.

  • @TheEapolanco Thanks, I did go read about it afterwards.. that it's based on 20. And thank you for the explanation for what I was hearing :)

  • @INDUSTRIAL3X its actually based on powers of 20. Cempohualli (one full count) omepohualli (two full counts) and so on and so fourth. You have spotted a rather great pattern though, although it is not quite a perfect pattern. If you notice the first five numbers do not build on anything, and the second set of five numbers chicoace - matlactli (variant spelling) do not build on 5. However, 10-14 do, and so do 15-19.

  • @greenpredetor Get your facts straight befo commenting about history, then ask silly questions.

  • @chaconmcfly well not really cannibals , but there where some stories , anyways isnt there cannibalism found around the world? even in now we still find the occasional cannibal news around the world

  • Interesting, notice how every 5 numbers, the next 5 are "composed" of the previous 5? I would assume it's not a base 10 counting system, but a base 6, (0-5).. pretty unique..

  • is there another website this one took me to a different site.

  • @ronaldjinho Ironic, history is writting by different people, haven't you ever learned this ? " don't believe everything you read " but if you do, I came from the future where we have time traveling machines and since I visited the mayan culture, they weren't carnivals, they ate ice cream and corn flakes for breakfast, Canadian for lunch and puked it afterwards, it was a tradition. oops I guess they were canivals. Well believe anything you want, but if you are here is because you want something

  • @zyxonian I see that someone refered you to xoko! He is also very knowlegdable on our culture. Xoxo and ocelocoatl are nahuatl speakers, leaders in aztec dancing, they promote are native culture and the truth. One example they give is a obsidian knife can not cut through a rib cage to get to the heart. Make sure you type in maestro ocelocoatl.
