Unhappy with your sales performance but not sure why?

I have recently met a number of business people unhappy or confused with their sales results online and offline. Remember that customers want to trust you before doing business with you. This begs the question. "What are you doing to build your client's trust?"
The answer may be your "Freeline" is not working properly. Let's take a moment to look at your sales funnel, your marketing approach, online, offline and then look closely at your freeline.
First let us look at the basic terms and why client trust is fundamental in your business.
Simplifying terms
Online is your physical presence on the internet, blogs, web site, email or whatever is delivered to your potential customers.
Offline activities are physical support activities promoting your presence. This can be speaking events, articles in newspapers or magazines, training, education, cards, letters, gifts or other marketing material.
Freeline this is my term for describing what you are giving the client so they develop trust in your product or services. Is this a fridge magnet, cup, training, free consulting or strategy so the client can trust your service.
A new ball game
In the past a Free-line was something simple, like a fridge magnet, mouse pad or sometimes just a simple sales brochure.
The internet has changed the rules, including the method of delivery, with technology savvy clients wanting more from your business. Giving prospective clients a way of trusting you to deliver on your promises is fundamental to growing your customer base. This approach creates "Qualified Leads" for your business that are prepared to engage your services or buy your products.
This Video explains the sales funnel from a business perspective and then looks inside this funnel from a customer's view. A customer will want to see "What's In It For Me" (WIIFM).

Worksheet 1
List your existing clients in the stages of the sales funnel. This allows you to see your client's progress through the stages of the sales process. Often businesses use this format to create a white board to display the client's progress through the funnel. Measurement is a fundamental key to success.
Worksheet 2
Identify the activities that you perform in business client trust in your product or services. The more items you use the more effective results.
Worksheet 3
Marketing Tactical Plan schedule keeps you focused on the activities required to successfully promote your business online and offline.
