i think this may have been a cool twist:

what if hiro had actually killed ando with the intention of time traveling one last time to save him later but then things got complicated when he lost his power. then when his powers partially restore he feels hope in saving ando and that becomes part of hiro's "redemption" storyline, which is already supposed to be hiro's best one yet. i just thought id put that out for opinions
