We've been getting an unusually large amount of snow here on Long Island, too.
You don't sound like you are from Georgia. Where are you from, originally?

@Illuminatta Oh, I'm from Georgia, and I've never been out of the state (except for about 20 hours, and most of that was in South Carolina).
My accent just comes and goes, and it goes more than it comes...

@thunderhayes Huh. I'm often told I don't have a "New Yawk" accent. And I've lived here most of my life...except a few years as an adult in Massachussetts and New Hampshire. Are your parents from out of state? That could be why. My mom was from Chicago and we had Chicago accents when we were little. LOL

@Illuminatta Nope, they're from Georgia too...I guess I just don't have a thick accent.
Sometimes it'll thicken up...but last time I checked, my birth certificate said I was born in Atlanta...and I've lived here my whole life...
