  • i trained in gymnastics from age 3-13... my coach said if i kept on training the way i did i could go to the olympics and be an elite gymnast.... then my parents got divorced and we could no longer afford my coaching. im 15 now and i wonder every single day how amazing my life could have been if i became elite and went to the olympic. i am so depressed. i can still do everything i used to... but its too late. i hate my parents for doing this to me...

    i started gymnastics last monday and was shown a stretch for the shoulders which the teacher said would help , thanks on your advice , im gona try them in a min and will let you know , thanks =]

  • For a front walkover...

    Kick to a handstand, split you legs and step your legs down one at a time behind you. If you dont want to split, do a hand stand to a bridge and hold it then do your stand up. If you are falling while trying to stand up, its because you shoulders arent flexible enough. Make sure you stretch them everyday.

    Hope this helps, I know you kinda posted your questions a while ago.

  • I do gymnastics and i'm a level 10.

    For splits...

    Try doing oversplits, put your front leg on something and hold you split. What also helps is holding your arms up for a long time in you splits. If you can get a friend to help push you down, that too. And lastly stretch you hip flexers before sliding down into your split. Do a lunge and keep you back leg straight, it should stretch the front of you hips.

    i can get soo close to the floor but carnt get there fully so what can i do to help speed things up?

    i can do a handstand to a bridge and a bridge to a stand up position but not all togther if u get me? =]
