Shes very good....I like her alot. But she doesnt have that warmth of tone that Bartoli has that just seeps into your bones.....Julias voice is on the shrill side...she sounds like the Sops of the olden days (along the likes of Callas)...still shes very talented

she has impressive coloratura dexterity, but she rushes a lot, and she doesnt have a real trill.

@flicfan416 OH MY GOD i am shocked that people do this to this AMAZING singer ...the talent here is unreal...people are horrible!!!She is only 19 HOW CAN THEY COMPARE TO Bartolli...I love Bartolli also but seriously???...shocking to the core!!!!She will shine and have a sparkling career regardless of these nasty comments!

Good pitch. Needs a lot more work on phrasing. Sounds like she's doing what she's been taught and has heard rather than growing into her own interpretation. Top notes vary. Consistency of tone varies. Still very young...

I can't people are even beginning to compare this to Bartoli. Lezhneva is 19 in this recording, and her technique is staggering. I also think her tone and the overall quality of her voice is better than Bartoli.

OMG! How can one sing all these trills--how is it humanly possible? Ms. Lezhneva had to have won this competition--can anyone from Russia please tell us? I finally understand what a coloratura mezzo is after viewing this singer's amazing performfance. Watch out Italian/AMerican mezzo's!
