There is a reason why the mic has a metal screen in front of it. To protect it from Bruce's voice breaking it from the incomprehensible force it tends to generate.

I ran into these guys at Tobacco Road in Miami a few years ago and they were the coolest nicest bunch. No attitude, they bumped into be and apologized! I've seen them 35 times since the early 80's and that night was one of the highlights of my life!
