Episode 102 - Cantillon Classic Gueuze Lambic

Welcome to one of Johnny's favorite beers - a Cantillon Gueuze. A Gueuze is a blended aged Lambic beer, particularly noteworthy for its fruit notes and intense sour flavor. Tom Peters of Monk's Cafe gave us a proper education on lambic beers a while back, and ever since, Johnny has been in pure love. This one scores wickedly high - and deservedly so.

I'm fortunate enough to have visited the Cantillon brewery a couple times and I swear, unreservedly and without exaggeration, that the brewery's barrel room has the most intoxicating and wonderous smell I've ever experienced. It is unbelievable.

Anyway, awesome video. Keep it up, dudes.

@TwoGuysOnBeer if you guys want I'll show you around the region of brussels. there is now a bar for over a year here called Moeder Lambic (Mother Lambic) moederlambic.eu they even offer tasting sessions of all their beers. Bier Circus is a tavern and here you have the choice over all the Belgian beers. at least that is what they promise ;)

Nice one guys - I love Lambics, but its hard to come across them here in Australia.

I already bought all the Cantillon and Boon bottles from my local store (and drank them all )

I also had a Lindemans Cuvee Rene from the Belgian Beer cafe and that was really good, too. Cheers !!
