A paracord fast rope is a bundle of paracord that unspools very quickly when you need it to but still securely held together when you want it together. This video goes through the steps of making one. All you need is some paracord and a couple of points to weave between.

  • Shorten the pegs jackass!

  • @Adamj190 Thanks for the constructive criticism, Mr. nice person.

  • I see the value if you need 70 feet all at once but if you only need 6 feet your outer wraps begin to loose their ability to hold the inner coils together. Good idea though for storage. Thanks for sharing.

  • @whoknew72 Yeah, I usually keep a couple of small 5-10' ones hanging off my pack just for that.

  • wouls it not be an idea putting the loop on the peg??

  • @crsmit You can, if that makes it easier for you. This video was just a suggestion of how to do it.

  • @Adamj190 Classy.

  • ive been doing this for years but been tucking my tail in through my loops ,great video

  • I will have to try this. I am curious as to how secure it would be.

  • You can do the same thing with smaller amounts of 550 by using your thumb/little finger and doing the figure 8. Put a loop over your L. thumb and begin. I've done 50' this way.

  • Cool Nice Vid

  • you could put a nail where you put the loop at first so you dont have to hold it

  • put a nail in the board and put the loop over it so you don't have to hold it there.

  • Nice Trick you've got there.
