PF-2 reduction elements are designed to be used with Black Berkey water purification elements to adsorb Fluoride, Arsenic V and pre-oxidized Arsenic III, and other residual heavy metal ions found in drinking water. This video shows how to properly install them.

  • @aman00777 Similar to early stages of cancer, you really can't feel a difference physically and mentally. I don't believe the difference will be at a conscious level but rather at a molecular level where your body is just functioning subtly more efficiently. Though, I'll keep your request in mind.

You are correct: PF2s are for black berkey elements only. If you have the ceramic ones, you can only use the PF4s! They will serve the same purpose as the PF2s.

    Take care.

  • @purplefetus3 Let me know (if you remember) if you feel a difference physically and mentally by using the fluoride filters for 2 weeks. Im unsure if im going to get some, because the fluoride filters only go onto black berkey cartridges dont they? Or do they go onto the ceramic ones too?

  • @aman00777 Interesting timing of your comment. I just ordered my Berkey w/PF2s yesterday! My plan is to not fill the Berkey to the extent that water would rise above the level of the PF2s. I think that's a simple and good solution. There's still plenty of water in the bottom and it may mean that I have to refill it more often. Not a bad alternative considering no one takes out fluoride better than the Berkey's PF2s. DYODD! Take care.

  • @purplefetus3 thats EXACTLY what i was thinking

  • listen up guys, i notice a few of u are experiencing the leaking over the top of the pf2 filters, i myself am, i mentioned it to berkey and we all need to also. their excuse is the calcium build up in the pf2s itself but we need to make them clear that it could be a fault with the pf2s itself. theyre a costly thing and we need these things without the hassle

  • @Mrjonnie1000 correct sir ...its a molded plastic stem ....i have replaced it 3 times they all leak in the stem..

  • @Mrjonnie1000 well it leaked soo i tighen it until it stoped leaking ...then it made a slight noise ...it shouldnt be leaking when you under tighten it

  • Isn't it bad design for the PF-2 filters to be sitting in the bottom chamber with the purified water? You can get back flow into the filters since they hang so low. Also wouldn't the plastic casing for the PF-2 filter leech out into the lower chamber water?

  • So it does not eliminate fluoride and other unwanted chemicals, just reduces them : (
