I think you and I have more in common than I initially realized. I've left from certain moments of failure like the one you described suddenly needing to cry or run or some shit. However, I think that success is a series of failures. You keep on failing until you succeed. It's how we learn. I admit, I haven't been failing enough.

I wanted to hear more about the wisdom of the old man.

If you touch a flame, it will burn you. If you eat an orange, it is juicy. If you close your eyes, there is darkness. How do I know these things? I have experienced them. Who knows the most about life? The man, or woman, who has experienced the most in life. Being able to talk to an old man that has a lifetime of experience is an opportunity that should not be taken for granted.
