Man, that sax solo was whack. Sounded like he was just playing out of a Mike Brecker exercise book. Nothing original and he didn't weave his plagiarized licks into anything resembling a coherent whole. Contrast the musicality and melodiousness of Take Six to the choppy, over-used, dispassionate licks of the tenorman.
The band is sick though - can't deny that.
