I have time Warner cable with net gear router. will this work?

@rlkinser How is that "more useful"? You're repeating what I wrote in my comment.
-
@yakuzahi This is true with the older model reviewed in this video, however newer models also support EVDO data.

@yakuzahi Yep, you're right. I realized shortly after posting it that there was a big date gap, but figured I'd leave it up to keep anyone from thinking it wasn't capable of it. I'll remove that post and put up something a bit more useful. :)

@rlkinser Next time do your research before you say "incorrect"! As you can see, the video above was uploaded on Oct 18, 2009. Back then, Verizon Wireless had the 1st Network Extender that ONLY supported call reception. Now, Verzion has a Network Extender that supports 3G EVDO Rev A. "The one thing missing from this older unit is that it lacked EVDO, which means data could only use the slower 1x speeds"

@fmendoza1994 NO, you will not get better internet, its improved the calls not the EVDO or EVDO A
When using the extender, does it subtract from your minutes?

3 Questions:
1. Will you get service with this if you originally have no bars at your home?
2. If I have a modem and a router can I still hook this up to my computer?
3. How much does it cost?

1. yes, thats the point of it
2. You hook it up to the modem, router, not the computer
3. Its about $200
