Idk how robert deniro didn't win an oscar for this. I know chris did and he earned it. But deniro was amazing. I mean his acting in this scene came out so natural and real. You really felt his anger and frustration and sadness. at 3:36 when he starts to cry a bit was perfection. That expression showed it all. This movie will always be the best movie ever.

If this scene was anywhere close to reality then the Vietnamese couldn't have won the war with these fucking psycho cowards. Which people with a brain could believe that an well organized army like the VC could waste their time for this kind of stupid and sick game on an easily targeted bamboo lodge.
