But boy its scary though, I lucked out and ran into two smallconvoys with a troop transport in each one that I sank. The map that came with the game leads me to belive they were going to africa since they were going to the south and with the mods I have (cant remember them) it says that the allies are beating the germans in africa. I desided to sink the troop transports over attacking the cargoships and tankers first. Supplys dont mean anything if you dont got the troops.

@LiLSikBoi I know SH4 also offers various covert missions, such as inserting friendly agents into enemy territory. Other than that, that's really the whole game: use real-life methods to find enemy ships and sink them—just like a real U-boat captain.

@LiLSikBoi I've only played SH4, but the basic idea, I'm sure, is the same in SH3. You're assigned a general area to patrol, generally near the enemy's coastlines. You go there and try to locate enemy ships—especially supply convoys—using surface radar, sonar and paying attention to friendly communications. When you find them, you decide whether to attack or not, and how. Once you feel like you need to head back home, you do so, and your patrol is graded.
