Excellent dancer, but I have to say I'm not a fan of the costume or the music choice. A lot of belly dancers have a hard time with people equating belly dance with stripping... and well...I guess I might have to agree somewhat with the "creative fusion" comment. Sorry. I do tribal fusion as well and I really don't want people to get the wrong idea about what I do. We have a slogan in our troupe: "sensual, not sexual." Excellent technique though!

Yes, we are really doing a fusion! And like any fusion, we have freedom to choose which styles to use. And to use a given fusion, we have to know where, when and what the public want to play.

To my fusions, I also spent a hard time, and besides, I am also a bellydancer.

Make your dance consciously and study. What other people think, is the consequence of what you want to convey.

@Xrogue9X Sim, realmente estamos fazendo uma fusão! E como toda fusão, temos liberdade de escolher quais estilos utilizar. E para utilizar determinada fusão, temos de saber onde, quando e qual público queremos tocar.

Para fazer as minhas fusões, eu também gasto um tempo duro, e aliás, sou uma bellydancer também.

Faça a sua dança de maneira consciente e com estudo. O que as outras pessoas vão pensar, é consequencia daquilo que você quer transmitir.

@LeandroMartinsBrito Obviously a LOT of work went into this and while I'm not a fan of the style, I definitely appreciate the work it takes to choreograph as well as the skill and technique to pull it off this well. I also agree completely with your point about making dance consciously and studying. That's something I've come to realize in recent years is essential. & certainly, being fusion, you can fuse whatever you like, so... I guess all I'm trying to say is rock on and keep dancing! :-)

@mandomom2003 I think it doesn't denigrate the art of bellydance at all, cause it's a tribal fusion. In tribal bellydance the dancer has the liberty to use several references, including ocidental stuff.

This is really cool ;well done, I like it and think it is fun, however, it debases the image of belly dance. It isn't 'arabic dance" and is culturally inappropriate to call it so. The costume is very cabaret/stripper-ish, which as I said is fine, however, linking it to belly dance offends many. Let's just call this "experimental world dance" or "creative fusion" or something so it doesn't denigrate the art of belly dance.

cute, not what i would call tribal, more like a theatrical style of belly dance, good 4 u having the guts to do this song :)
