So it just makes sense to do things like make pagers available to families in surgical waiting rooms... and offer 24-hour test results on mammograms to ease a person's mind.. Or give cancer patients nurse navigators to guide them through the treatment process.

And even though some of these innovations may seem remarkably simple -- to a patient looking for answers, they are simply remarkable.

It's a common sense approach to healthcare, that strangely enough, doesn't happen everywhere else. But it does here. Alegent Health.
