Also notice that he takes a faster but not too fast tempo at the first movement
while other pianists perform it too slow and miss the lyricism of this piece
if you play a melody too slow, you may loose it
but earl wild have found the perfect tempo for the first movement

@Noshirm I don't know much about his works yet. I have nice CD of Grinberg plays some Medtner works, all works in which CD I love! But this sonata and also playing is really nice! And indeed, full of vernal freshness! :-D I love it, I must listen to all his sonata's! Thank you Noshir san for sharing it, also thank you Mark for uploading it.

The entire sonata is exquisite - an outpouring of beauty and yearning...flush with the most vernal spirit. Medtner sounds even better with repeated listenings. (:-0)
