I used a Gotcha lure and knew he would go for it. My friend caught the female and I got big daddy. It was hooked real good so he was not going anywhere. It peeled off some drag off my Penn 550 ssg reel and battled like a champ.

It is encouraging that the peacock bass are still alive and well after the cold front. I will wait when it picks up again in about 1 month. MIA Fishing Elite Peacock Bass Anglers

  • Nice peacock! lol @ the people saying that one is small. Pretty good size in my opinion.

  • @dmc16336 It is a nice size peacock bass. I liked the colors on it. My gf caught the biggest which was 22 inches and like 8 lbs. I got the video if you search through it.

  • amazing fish

  • @stripedbass29 It had great colors. I was a peacock bass ace when I was living over there. I would catch the most stubborn and hard to catch peacocks!
