music8stuart - you dipstick! I AM a guitarist, & the reason why I put black fittings on my Les Paul Gold Top was, in part, as a tribute to Snowy! (Him, Pete "Sarge" Frampton, & Joe Bonamassa all use Gold Tops with black fittings, & all are top drawer players) I also have a LP with the phase reversed like Snowy's & Pete Green's Les Paul, too! I was trying to be sardonic, but it only works if every one else joins in! (No disrespect intended - you weren't to know I was being ironic)

Nice playing, but after all this time, and with his success, surely he could afford a new guitar? Perhaps Gilmour would give him one of his Strats, as that guitar is so old, it's embarrassing!

His pickups sound out of phase in the middle, and he adjusts that tone with each volume pot. Seldom see anyone use that effectively as he does...
