Welcome to MyBinding video. Let's take a look at the SmartCut Commercial 18, an 18-inch rotary paper trimmer by Swingline. This heavy duty rotary trimmer is for large documents and high volume projects. Let's watch it in action and check out its features.
A transparent paper guide slides papers right under the blade. A lever clamps down everything in place so it doesn't move when slicing. Just press down the green button and slide away. And the rotary trimmer can go from the right to the left or the left to the right. The metal base is not only durable and long-lasting but it's 18 inches wide, allowing for large projects. Simply clamp your project down and slide it all the way across the fence. The steel blade on the Commercial 18 can trim up to 30 sheets of 20lb paper at a time. You can see here with ten sheets, you have to make a couple passes. With 20, perhaps two passes or three. In trimming all the way up to 20 or 30 sheets, we had to work a little harder. But in the end, the machine performed wonderfully. Rotary blades are much safer when it comes to transportation and this one is a light machine, so easily moved around your office.
