  • a hand chain saw would be more compact and more effective i think but good review interesting piece of kit

  • i suppose it might be better but i like the tried and tested gear from bcb

  • That looks more like a metal cutting saw blade. I would opt for one of the light weight folding saws that hunters use to trim brush..Would work for breaking out of jail.LOL

  • Too much fuss to put together. I would not carry it as a bushcraft saw. It seems to function/perform better as a hack saw, but even a standard hack saw seems more efficient.

  • where'd you get this saw? can't seem to find it on ebay or easily on the net?

  • Bought the more agrresive sven blades and used a nylon screw and nut to replace the split rings. Very sturdy, fast cutting saw.

  • I bought one of these at a pawn shop in Concord North Carolina at a very resonable price. Excellent saw that cuts great and is very portable and compact.
