Hi. I'm so sorry for your loss. I too had a Great Pyrenees and put her down from bone cancer two years ago and she was about to be 10 years old . I've never gotten over it and loved her as a person - she was my life. I did go out a buy a Newfie right away and that was my way of dealing with my loss. My Newfie is the best friend in the world now as well as my husbands. Good luck and all the best to you.
