Quick Tip - Installing skins to steam

In this video I show you how to install custom skins to steam. However I should note that sometimes adding a custom skin can make the boot up time (or start up time) of steam a bit longer, so take that into consideration.

V3 (Beta) Skins

The V3 is beta that you can "opt in" on the first link. Is is a beta interface so it isn't going to be perfect in anyway.

This should work for all versions of Windows (From XP and above)

If your computer cannot extract Zipped files then download 7zip (from link below) and use that.

@WhoTFstolemyname I shall say this again, Old Steam skins do not work any more. You install the new skins the same way, but the new skins will only work on the 2011 steam client.

@illage2 That's not what I Meant. This is one of the first results when searching installing steam skins on osx, and you have an osx toolbar, even though it's windows.

skins are ''legal'' on css steam? i mean..i wont get banned if i download skins to my steam css?
