  • the 2011 pride of casa grande marching band played this as our closer and three other sscores by bernard herrmann it was really legit

  • The 'clank' is created using a sound plate, and they do come in different pitches. Brake drums are similar but have their own distinct sound and vary in pitch according to their size as well.

  • They used a VOLKSWAGON wheel drum for the 'clank' on the Charles Gerhardt conducted 'Classic Filmscores of Bernard Herrmann'.

  • Excellent performance. Benny would be pleased.

  • Great

  • Or a steel plate.

  • @stravinskydogs It's actually just called a sound plate.

  • @stravinskydogs "Anvil", but don't have form of metal anvil yet haahha That's the "new" manufacture or adaption of this orchestra.

    .

  • @stravinskydogs I believe they are Tuned plates..but might go by different name. I believe the Paiste cymbal company makes them as well as other cymbal manufactures.

  • Does anyone know what the name of that metal pecussion instrument that he hits is?????? ive literally been searching for years cos you always hear in horror films PLEASE HELP ME!! haha im such a nerd
