Parelli Student Vicki with Garbo

Today we have chosen Vicki and her partner, Garbo, to feature on ParelliTube. Vicki and Garbo are from New Zealand and have been been studying Parelli for two years. Vicki writes:

"I started riding 6 years ago, and when I got Garbo in Year 2, we started off well but I quickly became disillusioned with the standard training methods taught to me by instructors. The use of force and whips made my horse kick, rear and buck which in turn made me lose my confidence completely. I thought there must be a kinder way and one that didn't require me to wear gloves to stop me getting blisters on my hands! 2 years ago I found Parelli and started studying via the Home Study Program and this shows some moments in our lives Before and After Parelli. We are now studying Level 3!"

I can respect what parelli training has done for your horse, It helped me build confidence with one of my horses too but I have an arab mare JUST LIKE THIS HORSE, and she over came it with classical training and me learning to relax...just saying the millenia old ways work too
