Self-myofascial release is an excellent method to release tension and tightness in the muscle and connective tissue that run throughout your body. This brief instructional video will introduce and assist you in working with the foam roller as an effective tool for this process. Almost anyone can use the foam roller. Please take your time learning these techniques and remember, there are times that this work will be challenging and will not always feel great, depending on the tension within a particular area. The foam roller used in this video is one of my favorites called, "Pro-Roller" from OPTP 800.367.7393. I have also purchased roller from www.powersystems.com, which also carries a great selection.
I an brand new to using the foam roller. Your demonstration of the moves was clear. I appreciate your honesty about the potential intensity with certain moves. I'll be returning to this YouTube until I am more familiar with the techniques. Excellent cautions to protect oneself while using the roller. Thanks from Tucson AZ
