@Buddhika75 Milton's voice is very hard to replicate, its that unique. His son doesn't come close where quality of singing is concerned, I think he tries to to overdo the replication.
It is very sad indeed that Milton is underappreciated in the media today - especially considering that his songs were exclusively a reflection of a genre of Sinhala music and not songs based on copies of Hindi tunes.

@Meshalhasseen I 100% agree your statement of "I don't think there was a better vocalist in Sri Lanka". But his value is never appreciated. No one, perhaps except his own son to some degree, can sing his songs as he did. But here are thousands who can almost replicate the voice of Jothipala and some other popular singers.

What a gorgeous contribution of Artists(Milton-Clarence-Premak
eerthi) for this song. If they still live in Srilanaka. Definitely they might do good songs like this indeed -
all these three great artists are dead..... but they may live in our hearts forever......

What a beautiful song.... You are never tired of hearing his songs. We are unfortunate to lose them pre -maturely...... Nilmini

Tears come to eyes when I see these songs.
We lost all three artists in this song prematurely. If alcohol did not destroy Clarence and Milton how many more songs we would have seen?
If Premakeerthi was not killed how many more songs we would have heard?
What a Kalakanni people we are?
We should change now.
Milton's voice - at his peak through the gramophone records and the Singlanka era, I don't think there was a better vocalist in Sri Lanka. The genius of Clarence and Premakeerthi is often brought up - but not enough about Milton. Can't imagine anyone singing his songs better than him.
This was the greatest era for SL music; which I am sad to say will never come again. If only there could be legal action against the cronies who make music today.

Thanks for sharing! I still remember how Prmekeerthi was a hero in my childhood! I used to woke early to watch "Shanida Aubowan"! As a child of 3 years old, I was really shocked when I heard he was assassinated!

Same here, I was so fond of Prem, and I was gutted to hear that he was assassinated for political reasons. This is utter stupidity, killing an artiste for political reasons.
I was shocked when I attended his funeral in 'Kala Bhawana' he was like real life.
Felt very sad.
Thanks for your comment

Dear Vidura,
Thanks for uploading the original, so nice to hear Clara Aiya's soft thumb rhythems, with Srikay's classic acoustic drumming and Stanley's wonderful sax counters.
