In Sanskrit the syllable Hum translates as 'gather together' referring to concentration of all blessing and energy. This particular calligraphy shows the Hum character in the Tibetan Uchen script style, each segment of the syllable is coloured differently, these are the colours associated with the Five Buddha families and their corresponding five wisdoms.
The Petsug Tibetan text in gold leaf is a prayer for the realization of the 'Hum' in respect to transformation of the five negative mind poisons to the five wisdoms.
