Mindfulness or concentration alone is not unconditioned; even after jhana or samadhi there is still grasping which causes suffering. Nevertheless, intentional prescience is key to Buddhist practice.
the craving to go back to the state of nirvakalpasamadhi is terrible, i struggled with it for many years and first sinds 17 years now thru mindfulness only i experienced an eas a serenity thru daily life, yes there still is duality, but my inner terror is gone, and hé, i even feel joy in my heart.
and my evrlasting, demanding, nagging search has come to an end, no separation ......
