Here's a question for you: when a person cannot work, has issues that prevent them from being gainfully employed, or make them down right un-employable, does that status dehumanize them? Are they LESS in need of medical check-ups for the prevention of disease and adequate medical attention?

it seems that Americans are not happy with the quality of care they receive. One reason, is that Americans are paying more for their health care. We pay more as a society, but probably more importantly for these ratings, Americans pay more out-of-pocket when they do fall ill. One-fifth of U.S. adults reported serious problems paying medical bills in the past year—more than double the rates in the next highest countries.

its called picking and chossing a job a small percentage of people get cancer the USA health insurance is fine you c.learly haven't been in other haven't seen most other countries healthcare system which are by far worse then the USA all Universal HealthCare will do is bankrupt the USA
U.S. health care is a joke and the laughing stock of the free world. How can a country as rich as the U.S. not hold the health of its citizens as a basic right? Health care is held hostage by corporate interests. The U.S. is a slave colony and has been since it founding. Profit motive rules humanity out. It's a mess and a tragedy, right now
