I beg to differ. As a survivor, I can state with absolute certinty that we were not helping either side in a conflict the United States was not only against but neutral. Moreover, the premise that Israel was attacked on 5 June 1967 is nothing more than properganda, for it was Israel who initiated the six-day-war against their neighboor's.

@dubified89 you are so right, LBJ ordered the recall of launched carrier aircraft. He also said that he wouldn't care less if the ship went down with all hands rather than embarrassing his good friend Israel. So back to my other comment: where did the treason occur. Politics stink to high heaven. But why did the Israeli planes have their national markings painted out, that smells of a preplanned attack. And the US crew were told never to divulge details of the attack under severe penalties.

People seem to cling to the patriot schtick because it gives them a sense of pride but why not be prideful about yourself and your virtues instead of where you were born? Nothing wrong with liking your homeland but when people are so nationalistic that they refuse to see the truth about matters like the U.S.'s Zionist imperialist foreigh policy it's a problem.

@billybobjoe57 A lot of righteous things *should* be done but they aren't. The U.S. government isn't going to stop supporting Israel because AIPAC is the most powerful lobby. All that politicians care about is money and power. That's why I'm an anarchist because this is the nature of government. It's a shame that so many have fallen for the patriot propaganda. The founders of America were no angels, they were the elite. The common working people had no say in the constitutional process.

I've always thought the main reason that USA/Israel was maneuvering to annihilate Egypt with nuclear weapons during the time of the USS Liberty was to try to erase the proof that judaism and christianity were totally plagiarized from Egypt. In order for USA/Israel to dominate the earth they have to be able to claim that their idealogy is correct. The only way to make that claim is if jews are in Israel but they have been unable so far to erase all the evidence that judaism is plagiarization.
