A successful medevac of a man from a shrimp boat located 105 nautical miles off the Corpus Christi coast.
A watchstander received a distress call at 10:20 a.m. from the shrimp boat Miss Ashleigh reporting that a 42 year-old crewmember was experiencing violent seizures.
Coast Guard Air Station Corpus Christi immediately launched an HH-65C Dolphin helicopter and an HU-25 Falcon Jet. The rescue helicopter arrived on scene and hoisted the man at 11:54 a.m. The man was safely transported to Spohn Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi by 12:50 p.m.
