This year's theme for the summer reading program for teens and adults is Just Read It. In honor of Just Read It, librarians and staff at Worthington Libraries are at it again! This time we spoof Michael Jackson's music video Beat It, complete with gang fight and group choreography. Watch the video to find out how the right book--courtesy of your local librarian--can save the day.
You can sign up for the Just Read It summer reading program at any Worthington Libraries location beginning June 7, 2008. Dancing optional.

LOL>>>>> Has to be one of the funniest things that i have ever seeen... judging from what i just saw it was both choreographed and thought off by an adult well past their 40's trying to figure out what is cool and the coolest way to get the kids from "street fights" and to start reading.. And they decided to go with making a parody of a popular song. Whie I admire the effort it is funny.
Haha, that's awesome! I think the original music video predates me by just a bit, but it's funny seeing good Old Worthington library in such a new way.
