P4A: Running for the Uncultured Project

For the 2010 Project for Awesome, I'm launching Running for the Uncultured Project. I'm going to be running the 2011 Chicago Marathon and hope to raise $26,200 for UP. I am hoping to find 1000 people to donate $26.20. Additionally, for every $1000 raised, someone will pledge and run 1 mile in exchange.

Hey John - we've chatted a bit by email. I am really blown away that you picked my little project as both your choice for P4A and as your choice to fundraise in the Chicago Marathon.

I'm not joking - as you recall in a few emails, I was trying to steer you towards fundraising for either Charity: Water or Save the Children. The fact that you feel so strongly about my work really means a lot.

Looks like Hank and John changed how they did P4A this year and so not as many videos got spamwowed :(

@UnculturedProject What you've done w/ UP while using social media to educate the world is why I'm so passionate about fund raising for you. Being a SM addict, I couldn't think of any other appropriate way than to find a charity that truly understands SM and uses it properly. Hence, my determination to run for UP for #CM11
