If the characters were Capt. Kirk with his First Officer Ms. Spocklet or Captain Jamie Kirk with his FO Mr. Spock were the ones looking at each other like that, there will be no doubt in other people's minds that it's love. It's just because they are both men, that it's any different? It's called discrimination people. Obviously the great Roddenberry wanted us to see something. I believe it's called K/S love!
