@goldensolder44 he was probably about 22 or 23. I'm reading Lynch on Lynch right now and he mentioned that he used a broken tape recorder to record his baby daughter for this short film- his daughter was born in 1968 which would have made Lynch 22 years old.

i watched this and "the grandmother" at 2 in the morning the first time i saw them, and i was legit scared out of my mind. I've never seen lynch in an interview, but he's either a fucking psychotic-ass, batshit-insane fuckmonkey who should never have been allowed to touch a camera, or he's the greatest film maker in the history of the art.
